Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Description
The contractor shall provide a Systems Engineering and Integration Specialist to support CTSF (Command, Control, and Communications Tactical Systems Framework) in the development, implementation, and documentation of systems engineering, integration, and readiness processes and procedures.
This role involves active coordination, execution, and participation in various forums, including the Systems Engineering Integrated Product Team (SE IPT), to identify and promptly resolve technical and programmatic issues at the Program Executive Office (PEO) level while maintaining the evolving LWN (Lower Tactical Internet/ Warfighter Information Network – Tactical) architecture.
The specialist will also collaborate with program, project, and product management offices to assess the effectiveness of engineering and integration processes.
ResponsibilitiesThe Systems Engineering and Integration Specialist will be responsible for the following:
Collaborating with CTSF to develop and document systems engineering, integration, and readiness processes and procedures that ensure consistency and reliability in design and development.
Actively participating in forums, particularly the Systems Engineering Integrated Product Team (SE IPT), to identify and resolve technical and programmatic issues at the PEO level.
Contributing to the ongoing development and maintenance of the LWN architecture.Coordinating with program, project, and product management offices to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of engineering and integration processes.
Qualifications
The Systems Engineering and Integration Specialist should possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline).
4+ years exp in testing or quality control of technical systems
Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes, methodologies, and best practices.
Familiarity with defense-related systems and programs, especially within the C5ISR domain.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a multidisciplinary team.
Understanding of Program Executive Office (PEO) processes and requirements is a plus.
Proficiency in documentation and process improvement.
Ability to assess, identify, and resolve technical and programmatic issues.
