Duties:


  • Responsible for the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensure the compliance quality standards such as ISO 9001 and best practices.
  • Serve as the Quality Management Representative (QMR) for the PIF.
  • Oversee the conduct of internal and external audits of the PIF QMS.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures, work instructions and other documentation to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to address and resolve qualityrelated issues.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of products to identify any defects or deviations from quality standards.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement in product quality.
  • Provide timely feedback to other teams and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality processes.

  • Temporary business travel is required away from the duty station up to 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience is defined as: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade or band is required. It is defined as one year of specialized experience equivalent to the DB-02 pay band (GS-11 level) in the Federal Service which includes experience in one or more of the following areas:1) Supervising, directing, leading, or mentoring others to meet mission goals; 2) Experience developing strategic plans, systems Acquisition, or program / budget development; 3) Analyzing engineering/scientific data for use in program/project improvement and/or troubleshooting.

  • Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted.
