    Job Description:
    Based in Tampa - Hybrid in office 3 days per week

    Application Developer -

    Client s Investments IT Group is seeking a hands-on full stack engineer to help modernize our MIM Digital Portal and improve the overall security of how clients do business with ***.

    The MIM Portal REST APIs are being modernized migrated from on premise to Azure ASE, and protected via APIM policies.

    The MIM Portal Entitlements application will also be upgraded from on-prem SiteMinder to AWS hosted Ping & Entra IdPs for Authentication & Authorization.

    As part of this upgrade, Entitlements will be refactored to implemented Access-Control-centric domain models.

    This refactoring will improve maintainability and extensibility of Entitlements, and position the system to support future upgrades, such as Entitlement approval workflows.

    The candidate will have experience developing service-based architectures for external facing portal applications utilizing REST APIs protected via APIM policies.


    Key Responsibilities:
    " Assist with migration of REST APIs from on premise to Azure ASE protected via APIM policies.
    " Assist with refactoring of Portal Entitlements application utilizing Access-Control-centric domain models.
    " Assist with migration from on-prem SiteMinder to AWS-hosted Ping (for external Clients) & Azure-hosted Entra (for internal Employees).
    " Assist with migration from on-prem SiteMinder to AWS-hosted Ping (for external Clients) & Azure-hosted Entra (for internal Employees) for Authentication & Authorization.
    " Be able to implement solutions that utilize hybrids of PaaS, SaaS, cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
    " Lead by example by being hands on in all aspects of the SDLC including requirements gathering, test plan creation, unit test development, coding and ensuring operational readiness for our solutions.
    " Ensures consistency and maintainability of solutions by hardening designs for fault tolerance and ensuring standards and procedures are implemented.
    " Follows approved SDLC and project management methodology, ensuring that all required steps are followed, all required deliverables are produced, and all approvals are obtained.
    " Designs use cases, functional specifications, and prototypes.

    Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
    " 5+ years of experience developing and implementing solutions that utilize the full stack
    " 2+ years recent experience with the MSFT stack AspNetCore, C#, SQL SERVER
    " 2+ years recent experience with Authentication & Authorization tools such as SiteMinder, Entra, Ping
    " 2+ years recent experience with Azure Cloud, REST API, and APIM
    " Experience with Entity Framework and Domain Driven Design
    " Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    " Experience in the creation of products in both agile and incremental waterfall methodologies.


    Preferred Skills:
    " Applied experience within a buy side or sell side asset manager.
    " Recent experience Azure DevOps (CI, CD, CT) and GitHub
    " Ability to understand and apply new technologies quickly
