MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE with Geo-Metric Tolerances and Symbols.

MUST HAVE Multi-Dimentional Inspection Experience (Preferably with METALS).

MUST be able to Read Basic Blueprints.

CMM Experience a plus

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure strict adherence to and implementation of Company Safety and Work rules.
  • Performs inspection operations in:
  • First Piece Inspection
  • Final Inspection
  • Receiving QC Inspection
  • In-Process Inspection
  • First Article Inspection
  • Ability to operate manual CMM equipment or willingness and skill to learn.
  • Responsible for creation of nonconformance documentation (NCRs) when discrepancies are detected at any inspection stage. Removal of the discrepant material from the production areas.
  • Maintain and support SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost) metrics.
  • Ensure that all quality requirements are being followed including procedural compliance and defect reporting

    nspection r*eports (FAIRs) in accordance with the AS9100 standard.
  • Maintaining all inspection data during daily inspections and responsible for ensuring all paperwork is in its proper place.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other members of the Quality team to ensure that all areas flow efficiently.
  • Escalate production and assembly quality issues or work stoppages caused by a quality issue immediately.
  • Set up and adjust gages using required equipment or masters per specification requirements. This includes periodic verifications of gage setup.
  • Work with quality engineering in the design of new or modified gaging when required.
  • Provide leadership, technical support, and guidance to certified operators, manufacturing, and other areas in need of assistance on all Inspection related topics. (FAI's and New Product Development)

Job Requirements

This position requires the applicant to be a US Person with a US permanent residence. A US Person is a US Citizen or Green card holder._

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 years of Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 23 years previous Aerospace DSQR experience preferred.
  • Qualified experience, ASQ Certified CQT CMI a plus.
  • Knowledge of First Article Inspection (FAI's).
  • Experience working with precision metal components
  • Effective communication skills written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic math aptitude.
  • Able to read and interpret technical part drawings
  • Experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
