As a Principal Data Analyst you will be responsible for extracting, managing, and analyzing data within Discover. Must conduct research on business data to communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

Should be knowledgeable on analytical tools to set up processes and systems that make working with data more efficient within the company.

Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management. Responsibilities
Responsible for gathering, structuring, and analyzing data from multiple sources, and providing recommendations to management.
Partners with the business to identify the appropriate data sources and analysis methodology to meet business needs.
Coaches and guides less experienced analytical professionals in statistical concepts, principles, and tools.
Supports the development of standard data analyses, reports, and dashboards.
Demonstrates technical knowledge in analytical tools


Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration and management, analytics, engineering, statistics, mathematics, computer science or information technology
6+ years of data analysis and relevant toolsets or related
In lieu of education 10 + years of relevant work experience Bonus Points if you have experience with:
ServiceNow, Snowflake and Tableau
Ability to dive deep into the data to perform analysis

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $88,500.00 to $149, Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package.

Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
