Job Description_:

The Peer Specialist will engage peers in collaborative and caring relationships. Providing support by validating experiences and feelings. Will explore meaningful community roles and conveys hope of recovery.

Job Duties:_

  • Provides services and support for clients including but not limited to assessment, problemsolving, skills modeling, advocacy, training on daily living skills, and money management skills development.
  • Conducts field work including but not limited to home visits, escorting clients to appointments, and outreach.
  • Maintains and submits all necessary documents and reports as required by Urban Pathways, regulatory and funding agency policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Attends staff meetings, professional training, and supervisory sessions, as required.
  • Maintains relationships with community services and resources.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Requirements for All Positions_**:


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Peer Certification required.
  • 2 years of experience with mental health, peer support or peer advocacy
  • Proof of Full Covid19 Vaccination

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract


Pay:
$18.00 per hour
