    Description
    Job Summary

    Part-time job available with a rate of $14.50 per hour, only weekend availability needed usually on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday starting at 6 am.


    The Complimentary AM Attendant's main responsibility is to deliver top-notch service to guests with efficiency and politeness in the complimentary breakfast area of a hotel.

    Moreover, this individual must be knowledgeable about the hotel's brand standards, guest expectations, and the unique features of the hotel and local surroundings.

    Responsibilities


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    - Ability to carry out tasks with precision, speed, and accuracy
    - High School diploma or equivalent required, experience in a hotel or related field is a plus
    - Willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
    - Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages and completion of responsible serving course such as TIPs if mandated by the property
    - Capable of obtaining and providing the necessary Food Handlers card as per city/county/state regulations
    - Quick and accurate decision-making skills
    - Capacity to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
    - Understanding of hotel products, guest services, and etiquette


    Shows a positive attitude and eagerness to assist others by being open to learning new tasks, supporting team members, and interacting with guests and colleagues in a friendly manner.

    Possesses basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette


    Adept at preparing high-quality drinks including specialty coffee, tea drinks, cocktails, and other beverages as required by the hotel.

    Proficient in basic numerical operations like counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing

    Able to read, understand, and write simple instructions, correspondence, and memos

    Skilled in dealing effectively with internal and external customers and staff, including those requiring high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    - Engage with guests and employees in a friendly, courteous, attentive, and service-oriented manner.


    Maintain consistent attendance as per Aimbridge Hospitality standards, following the hotel's scheduling needs.

    Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality's standards and regulations for safe and efficient hotel operations

    Provide food and beverage services to guests in a professional, courteous, and warm manner; identify services that can enhance the guests' experience

    Seat and greet guests promptly at suitable tables

    Ensure menus are clean and presentable

    Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed

    Maintain orderly and clean bar, food, and service areas, ensuring all side work is completed each shift

    Accommodate guest requests or offer suitable alternatives

    Communicate with all departments regarding VIP guests and any special needs

    Support beverage and food service areas, including dishwashing, restocking, sweeping, mopping, and other necessary tasks

    Answer the telephone promptly and professionally

    Have a good understanding of room service procedures and menus

    Handle cashiering duties, closing checks, and end-of-shift paperwork

    Execute opening and closing procedures and assigned side work

    Provide information about the hotel, brand standards, local attractions, and activities

    Perform other duties or attend meetings as required by management.
