The Foreman position is a transitional leadership position between the Operator and Site Supervisor positions.

The Foreman will work on larger job sites under the supervision of the SS, training in the responsibilities as a SS, or on smaller job sites as the supervisor under the supervision of a PM or GS.

The Foreman is responsible to learn to supervise crews, activities, schedules, job costs, and most importantly safety.

The Foreman works closely with the Site Supervisor, General Superintendent and Project Manager to be trained as a Site Supervisor to handle jobs independently.

Communication, competence, teamwork, goal-setting and mentoring, while maintaining the values and missions of DH Funk & Sons, are crucial attributes for the Foreman position.
