We are currently looking for a CAD Technician with Construction, Structural and Land Development experience. (Precast is a PLUS)

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the CAD Manager, the CAD Technician performs a variety of design/drafting activities including preparing/updating/reviewing installation drawings for projects and preparing assembly/manufacturing drawings.

Other duties to be performed as assigned.

Responsibilities

Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings and more complex drawings.
Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes.
Review blueprints, plans, specifications and other customer documentation if service is requested by the project manager.
Revise and update drawings to ensure consistent documentation of the project.
Works with the project manager on guidelines for installation drawings which meet and exceed the customer's requirements (bid and submittal phase). Implement these requirements on drawings sent to the customer.
Develop accurate quality takeoffs.

Requirements:

Associate's degree in drafting or related field; or completion of AutoCAD training
Proficient in AutoCAD software
Experience with takeoff system
Experience with Storm, Sewer and Water Meter Vault drawings
Excellent communications skills: interpersonal, listening, oral, and written.
Skilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft Office.
Able to generate layout drawings from sketches and specifications
Able to work with mínimal supervision, strong multitasking skills and efficiently schedule and manage time

This is a full-time position and may require overtime. Benefits after 60 days include medical, dental, vision, supplemental and short term disability insurance. Paid time off and Paid Weekly

This is a hybrid position.

Pay:
$50, $70,000.00 per year
