Job DescriptionKrazan & Associates, Inc. is looking for an entry-level Field Geologist/Civil Engineer to join our Clovis, CA office.
This is a great opportunity for a NEW GRADUATE to start their career in the Geotechnical field.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong work-ethic and a professional attitude. The Field Geologist/Civil Engineer will support and assist our geotechnical engineering staff as directed.
Main areas of responsibilities include:
·Site evaluation
·Drilling soil borings
·Borehole logging
·Soil sampling & soil classification
·Field investigations and testing for geotechnical engineering
·Report preparation
Requirements:
·BS degree in Civil Engineering, Geology or related field.
·Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills are essential
·Ability to plan and organize field assignments and project responsibilities.
Position requires one to three nights a week out of town per week.
For your safety, keep this in mind: You need to have the ability to stand for long periods of time and walk on uneven ground. You will be expected to work safely during all phases of performing the job duties by following all regulations, and safety procedures and employment policies. You must have and maintain a good driving record and be insurable under our company vehicle policy.
