    Job DescriptionSalary: $65K - $100K, depending on experience and certifications

    We are looking for motivated Project Manager/Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD) to join our growing team This is a senior to mid-level stormwater professional position, depending on experience. Location flexible within the Bakersfield or Fresno area.     In this role you'll lead and support environmental and stormwater compliance projects, including assisting clients comply with stormwater regulations and prevent pollutants from leaving the project boundary and entering our waterways. Responsibilities will include conducting stormwater inspections, developing and implementing Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) and/or site stabilization plans, conducting stormwater sampling, conducting desktop evaluations, providing on-site training to construction crews, and preparing related documentation and reporting.

    This position may support some initiatives/special projects as assigned. Travel and some overnight travel will be required, with periodic weekend and long hours.

    Qualifications:

    • BS or BA degree, preferably in an environmental discipline, sciences, or engineering
    • Current QSD certification
    • At least 5 years relevant experience supporting experience in SWPPP, including sampling and analysis, non-storm water and storm water visual observations and preparation of Rain Event Action Plans, environmental restoration, landscape construction, and erosion control
    • Strong knowledge of water quality or Stormwater management information, techniques, practices, laws, and regulations of the job or occupational field
    • Strong Knowledge of the California State Water Board Permits
    • Experience with the California Stormwater Multiple Application and Report Tracking System (SMARTS)
    • Familiarity with the California Stormwater Construction General Permit and California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA) Construction Handbook
    • Possess knowledge of environmental key issues and trends including emerging best practices and technology, familiar with industry language and terminology
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Relevant certification such as Certified Erosion, Sediment and Stormwater Inspectors (CESSWI), Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC), Certified Professional in Storm Water Quality (CPSWQ) and/or Industrial Stormwater Practitioner (QISP), Registered Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG) in the State of California.
    • Cross-training in natural resources including wetlands and/or environmental permitting
    • Competency with Arc GIS Pro
