Help Desk Technician - Saint John, United States - Schillings
Description
Responsibilities:
- Experience with Active Directory
- Experience with Office 365, Windows 10, and Windows 1
- Maintain and update IT help desk ticketing system
- Ability to work with the end users to gather information and resolve issues (Excellent people skills a must)
- Support and maintenance of backup systems
- Support and configuration of Apple mobile devices
- Experience using Mobile Device Management software a plus
- Knowledge of network printer installation, setup, and troubleshooting
- Strong PC & Network troubleshooting skills
- Installation and upgrade of hardware and software
- Traveling to the locations of Saint John, IN, Cedar Lake, IN, Valpo, IN and Mokena, IL during the work week
Education & Experience:
- Associates (2 year) degree, with a technical major or currently pursuing an Associate's degree
- One to two years system administration experience
- Knowledge and experience in building and maintaining internetworked technologies in a multilocation Cisco Meraki environment; a plus
- Office 365 Administration a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft server 2012 and higher, a plus
- Knowledge and understanding of LAN administration
- Experience in managing Apple mobile platforms and associated secure connectivity
- Ability to determine computer problems and coordinate hardware and/or software solutions
- Able to lift/carry 30 lbs.
