    Description

    Metric Geo are partnered with one of the largest multi-service contractors in the US, hiring for their major industrial and commercial projects across the US.

    We are currently hiring for a Safety Manager in Buffalo, NY for their Electrical division.

    This contractor is nationally recognized with a strong reputation across North America, being in business for over 60 years, employing over 3,000 professionals, and having a strong track record of successfully managing some of the country's largest and most ambitious projects.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in a safety related field.
    • 5+ years of safety experience in the construction field.
    • Prior experience working for a contractor is highly preferred.
    • Thorough regulatory, training, inspection, and auditing knowledge.
    • Ability to develop and mentor junior safety professionals.
    • Knowledge of compliance relating to DOT, MSHA, and other regulations.
