Job Overview:

Ensure the payroll and benefits functions process timely and accurately. Key role in interacting with all employees and finance function for reporting.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Process hourly payrolls weekly and salaried payrolls bi-monthly in Pay Pro with mínimal errors.
  • Provide guidance to individual locations with regard to timely submissions, quality of data, and questions.
  • Provide payroll reports to finance for monthly reporting requirements. Coordinate general ledger entries
  • Liase with Benefits broker to coordinate annual and new hire enrollments for all benefit offerings.
  • Provide ongoing census data for pension, cash balance, 401k, and non-qualified deferred compensation plan.
  • Provide oversight, development and supervision to the Administrative Assistant and Payroll Specialist.
  • Assist SVP Human Resources with annual and new hire salary and bonus administration and processing.
  • Maintain employee personnel files.
  • On-board or coordinate onboarding activities of the new employee in corporate and the plants. Completes new hire paperwork and benefits enrollment.
  • Provides ongoing benefit interface files with broker.
  • Provides ongoing administration and tracking for all leaves of absence (std, ltd, fmla, PTO), garnishments, unemployment, worker's compensation, etc.

Preferred Experience/skills:


  • College degree in Business preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to make decisions based on facts without bias and judgement.
  • Demonstrated department confidentiality of employee information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent keyboard/computer skills.
  • Proficiency in one or more payroll & HRIS systems.
  • Microsoft Excel and Word advance skills mandatory.

Pay:
$90, $120,000.00 per year
