_ SUMMARY OF POSITION_
We are seeking a highly motivated
Concrete Foreman for our team in Dillsburg, PA.

Expectations for this position are to ensure the completion of each job assigned while maintaining the complete satisfaction of the General Contractor.

This individual will monitor and supervise the team to assure maximum productivity, while minimizing cost and risk to the company and its employees.

This individual will also maintain a professional and good quality image for the company at all times.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS_**- Effectively leads, manages and motivates crew while performing their own job duties

  • Interprets blueprints, project plans and specifications for job layout
  • Plans and schedules with Operations for necessary manpower, tools, materials and equipment needed to complete the job
  • Accountable for ensuring that work completed meets and/or exceeds company standards
  • Participates in and monitors "safety toolbox meetings" for their crew
  • Effectively communicates with Project Manager and Operations regarding all aspects of the job
  • Assigns daily crew tasks and leads them in a productive manner
  • Ensures a timely response to any safety related issues or needs on the job site
  • Effectively resolves problems with projects, materials and workers as they arise
  • Responsible for completing daily timesheets and maintaining daily logs and reports
  • Ensures compliance with safety and OSHA regulations on the jobsite
  • Responsible for jobsite cleanup at the end of the day
  • Serves as a mentor to all new hires
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned by Operations

_ REQUIREMENTS_

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation
  • Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Prior field construction and supervisory experience; preferably 23 years
  • Detailed knowledge of concrete construction techniques, materials and equipment; with the ability to layout
  • Must be able to read drawings and interpret specifications
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work in outdoor environments, including prolonged walking or standing on various terrain in a wide range of weather conditions
  • Must be selfmotivated and able to work independently and meet necessary deadlines
  • Must have experience with Microsoft products such as word, excel and outlook
  • Must follow all company rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, etc.
