Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the monthly financial close for multiple entities with a consistent goal to

deliver the financial package in 7-10 working days and assist with developing a

more comprehensive approach to the reporting.

• Manage and review daily accounting activities, including overseeing the

recording of revenue and expenses, billing, AP, general ledger account

reconciliations, inventory, revenue recognition, and the month-end close process

for retail and wholesale operations.

• Take ownership of all trial balance accounts and ensure timely and accurate

account reconciliations are prepared that will stand up to audit scrutiny.

• Prepare monthly management financial statements and explain the variance

against budget for submission to head office within 10 days after month-end.

• Assist with planning and execution of the annual physical inventories at all

warehouses and showrooms and ensure variances are booked accurately.

• Weekly monitoring and communication with the executive team of weekly sales

activity.

• Prepare and present key financial reports on monthly sales, inventory, profit,

cash flow, and expenditures for all locations as well as consolidated reports for

Americas.

• Manage key relationships with vendors, insurance brokers and banks and other

lenders.

• Manage sales commission payouts and expense reimbursements for all staff.
• Responsible for payroll processing functions in Gusto ensuring accurate and

timely payroll disbursements.

• Ensure proper benchmarking and cost control of thirdparty expenditures (white

glove delivery, ground transport, caterers, etc.)

• Coordinate, consolidate, and report on the Company's plans for capital

expenditures.

• Ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting which includes the collection and

remittance of sales tax, payment of property tax, or other taxes, filing business

licenses, filing permits, etc.

• Assist in annual tax filing and other statutory requirements.
• Supervise, train, coach, and mentor accounting team members.
• Continuously evaluate financial processes, recommend, and implement

improvements to streamline operations and enhance accuracy.

• Assure compliance with all relevant GAAP, as well as corporate policy and

procedure.

• Implement automation and technology solutions to improve financial operations

and control throughout the Company.

• Assist the VP of Finance in developing budgets, forecasts, cashflows and KPI's

for the business.

• Work with the VP Finance to prepare reporting for investors and lenders.
• Other adhoc assignments and projects for CEO/COO.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or a related field is required
• CPA or MBA is preferred, but not necessary
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience including 35 years in a Senior

role with direct reports

• Previous experience in a Retail/CPG/directtoconsumer startup environment

with rapid growth is a plus

• Advanced levels of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Excel &

Word).

• Strong knowledge of GAAP & statutory accounting principles.
• Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
• Professional, highly ethical, motivated, and selfdirected.

Pay:
$160, $180,000.00 per year
