About the Donor Program Development Coordinator I:

The Donor Program Development Coordinator I is responsible for maximizing the total number of donors recovered for transplant in Arizona through the implementation of a development and education process at assigned hospitals.

This position works collaboratively with hospital medical, nursing, ancillary departments; in addition to Organ Recovery, Tissue Recovery, and other DNA departments as necessary in the planning, design and maintenance of educational and quality assurance programs related to donation.

Responsibilities are to be conducted in a fashion that reflects DNA's comprehensive-full-service approach to donation with attention to priority management based upon donor potential.


Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or equivalent job experience

  • 3 years experience in Sales or Education
Ability to work the swing shift

Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Self-starter.
Effective leadership skills demonstrated in clinical, educational, and administrative contexts.

Ability to practice with a high degree of autonomy in a self-directed manner, demonstrating innovation and creativity in problem solving, and sound critical analysis as the basis for professional judgment.

High degree of professionalism and sense of ownership for individual and collective performance.
Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
Solid understanding of the process flow and the interplay of administrative, clinical and political factors within the hospital environment.
