Job Description

The Financial Analysis position involves managing the financial analysis activities of the hospital, gathering financial performance information, and consolidating it into detailed reports. The role plays a crucial part in making financial decisions for the organization based on their expertise. By interpreting raw financial data, the Financial Analysis suggests changes to business processes and constructs financial models to evaluate potential business adjustments.

This is a full-time opportunity from Monday to Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare financial and statistical analyses for the hospital and its departments.
Compile and present various financial and volume indicators.
Contribute to the monthly and annual financial statement processes.
Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
Create Pro forma for current and future service lines and procedures.
Assist in setting and reviewing charge item prices.
Conduct monthly and ad-hoc reviews of hospital and physician receivables.
Assist in generating information for interim/annual cost reports.
Develop and define productivity standards aligned with budgets.
Support the finance department in budgeting, financial reporting, and capital budgets.
Analyze actual results compared to benchmarks and report findings.
Supervise and engage in monthly, quarterly, and annual budget planning and assessment.
Manage and provide ad-hoc analyses for special projects and executive inquiries.
Assess forecasts from other departments and develop bridge plans.
Lead forecasting and goal-setting initiatives for financial plans.
Complete any other duties as assigned.

To excel in this role, the candidate must meet the following requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of Healthcare experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field
Strong interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft tools and database software
Prior experience in Healthcare is highly desirable
