Advanced Structural Technologies (AST) is an industry leading manufacturer of forged, flow formed and machined products for the space, defense, aerospace and automotive markets.
As a fully integrated contract manufacturing business, all process steps are completed on site in AST's facilities.
AST is located in Oxnard California 60 miles northwest of Los Angeles and 2 miles from the Pacific Ocean and California's Pacific Coast Highway.
We're currently searching for a Sales Associate who will be responsible for providing sales, marketing and customer service direction for the company's automotive aftermarket wheel business unit.
Those activities will include a wide range of activities from developing new customer relationships, executing marketing initiatives, supporting the customers initiatives within the company and supporting the activities of the sales department on a broader range of initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Able to acquire new accounts and relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Work with functional departments within the company to ensure program and customer requirements are being fulfilled.
- Function as the customer contact to manage and resolve any technical or administrative issues or concerns.
- Work with the marketing department to organize and develop marketing materials as necessary to promote products, designs and concepts.
- Do market research to identify new markets and potential customers.
- There will be periodic travel to visit with local customers in the LA area and go to trade shows.
- Setup and maintenance of the customer database and lead management processes (through CRM software).
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a relevant industry.
- Good problemsolving skills, reliable and dependable.
- Position requires excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work well with people of diverse backgrounds.
Pay:
$ $35.00 per hour
