    Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Tier 3 Network Operations & Security Center (NOSC) Analyst. There are three possible locations for this role Chandler, AZ; Stennis, MS; Washington, DC.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


    Provide Tier 3 support by analyzing network traffic and various log data to determine the threat/impact against the network, recommending appropriate countermeasures, facilitating the tracking, handling, and reporting of all security events and computer incidents.

    Investigating computer and information security incidents to determine extent of compromise to information and automated information systems

    Provides computer forensic and intrusion support to high technology investigations in the form of computer evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis, data recovery, and network assessments

    Captures, protects, and retains digital forensic data and information maintaining proper legal chain of custody for legal and law enforcement activities

    Researches and maintains proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, data hiding and network security and encryption

    Establishes and updates standard operating processes as necessary aligning with legal, policy, and customer requirements

    Email security - Digital media forensic - Monitoring and detection - Incident Response - Vulnerability assessment and pen test - Cyber intelligence analysis

    Supports detection, containment, and eradication of advanced persistent threat (APT) activities targeting customer networks

    Process community reporting, conduct link analysis, and collaborate with other Government cyber fusion teams

    Publishes intelligence products to inform network defenders about APT activities, new detection methods, among other topics of interest

    Lead and mentor other SOC Support Staff and will communicate with executive leadership

    Responsible for working in a 24x7 Security Operation Center (SOC) environment

    Other duties as assigned or required


    Basic Qualifications:
    A DoD 8570 industry related certification (CSSP Analyst, CSSP Infrastructure Support or CSSP Incident Responder)

    A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, cyber security, or related field

    A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience


    A minimum of four (4) years of experience in one or more of the following areas: computer network penetration testing and techniques; computer evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis, and data recovery; computer intrusion analysis and incident response, intrusion detection; computer network surveillance/monitoring; network protocols, network devices, multiple operating systems, and secure architectures.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    Any of the following certifications:
    Certified Ethical Hacker, Penetration Testing, GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE), GIAC Advanced Smartphone Forensics Certification (GASF)


    Clearance Requirements:
    Must be a U.S. citizen

    Must hold an active Secret clearance

    Must be eligible for TS/SCI clearance


    Physical Requirements:
    Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

    Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer


    The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
