    Position Overview

    We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Part-Time Video Editor who excels in transforming video content into captivating and trendy marketing pieces. This role is perfect for someone who is a natural storyteller with a keen sense of timing and flow, capable of crafting engaging short-form content. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Adobe platforms and have the ability to create motion graphics and other 2D content from scratch.

    Responsibilities

    • Edit a variety of video content, ensuring each piece captures trendy marketing elements and impactful narratives.
    • Work directly with both internal and freelance videographers and photographers to create a seamless project execution flow.
    • Utilize Adobe platforms to perform high-quality edits, ensuring excellent pacing, cuts, focus on the action, and overall attention narrative.
    • Create motion graphics and other 2D content from scratch to enhance video projects. We are subscribed to several motion graphics stock asset libraries but the ideal candidate is able to also navigate a project from concept only.
    • Collaborate with the creative team to as you develop for a high volume of clients at an industry-speed pace.
    • Maintain an organized approach to video editing, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in video editing and motion graphics, continuously enhancing your skills and our creative offerings.
    • Ensure all content produced meets the high standards of quality and creativity expected by Post Media.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of edited video work.
    • Strong ability to make distinguished edits to photography provided in a variety of mediums including studio and outdoor lifestyle.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
    • Strong storytelling skills with an excellent sense of timing and flow.
    • Ability to create engaging motion graphics and 2D content from scratch.
    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
    • A passion for creating impactful and trendy marketing content.
    • Ability to adapt to varying project needs and maintain high-quality standards across all edits.
