What you'll do:

The Facilities Supervisor supervises the day-to-day functions of the Fleet and Facilities department. This position will be responsible for coordinating the response to facility requests inside the agency and with our tenants.

They will manage tenant relationships, including but not limited to, collecting rent from tenants, responding to requests for service from tenants, ensuring compliance with lease requirements, and maintaining a high level of communication with agency tenants, lease holders, and stakeholders.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Supervises and provides support to the facilities staff.
  • Assist in the daytoday operations and oversight of the agency's facilities.
  • Assure all people, either by phone or in person, are greeted or assisted with a caring professional demeanor.
  • Main point of contact for afterhours emergencies. Coordinate and assist with all afterhour requests.
  • Effectively manage projects, and demonstrate the ability to multitask, to meet responsibilities of the position.
  • Assist with predictive and preventative maintenance of facilities.
  • Maintain accurate records, as it relates to facilities, to comply with agency requirements.
  • This position will be the main point of contact to maintain effective communication with the facilities staff, agency management, EMPACT employees, landlords, tenants, and property managers.
  • Work directly with tenants for compliance with all lease responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate initiative to work cooperatively and collaboratively as part of a team to meet the needs of the department.
  • Communicate weekly to management regarding workload, work scheduled, pending workload, or any other concerns.
  • Assist and provide support to departments in areas other than facilities as requested.

What you'll provide:


Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum of 3 years' jobrelated experience in the maintenance field.
  • Previous supervisory experience a plus.

  • If driving while on agency time or on agency business, a valid Arizona driver license and appropriate liability insurance and approval for liability coverage with EMPACT
  • SPC's liability insurance carrier is required.

What you'll experience:


  • Work environment could be operated at an EMPACT office, working indoors, or working outdoors depending on duties assigned for the day.
  • Employees must be able to lift up to pounds at times.
  • Frequent travel to all EMPACT worksites and training sites may occur as needed.
