Description

The German Railway is not only one of the most important mobility service providers, but also one of the largest engineering offices in Germany.

Currently, more than engineers work for us to realize and sustainably maintain new bridges, tunnels, train stations, tracks, and signal systems - but that's not enough.

As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you can plan, manage, or monitor something that will remain:
the infrastructure for future generations.

We are currently looking for a dedicated team member in the South region as a Maintenance Control Officer (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at our location in Nuremberg.

We offer a challenging and diverse job. Ideally, you already have the necessary qualifications, but we also provide training if needed.

Your tasks:

  • In your role, you will control the maintenance of our own facilities according to trades and components based on the N3i strategy and segmentation logic.
  • You ensure an economical use of the maintenance budget in the I.IA-S area through consistent control based on quantity and price.
  • You regularly create evaluations of programs and other controlrelevant facts (e.g. make or buy, quantity/price, weak point analysis, construction site failures, security costs, order quality) and derive suitable measures.
  • You identify the need for action in case of deviations from the maintenance goals, including timely commenting, report creation, and escalation documents.
  • You are also responsible for budget control of prevention and special programs, including active countermeasures
