What success looks like in this role:

Ivanti:

  • Create/Update/Manage Patch and Compliant jobs as they are released from thirdparty manufacturers or requested by the client
  • PowerShell, Visual Basic Script, Batch
  • Create/Update/Manage queries as needed/requested for software and/or computer inventories

Symantec Endpoint Protection:

  • Manage clients using Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager
  • Create/Update/Manage Policies for:
  • Virus and Spyware Protection
  • Firewall Policies
  • Intrusion Prevention
  • Keep Symantec Infrastructure up to date
  • Update Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and client as needed to keep infrastructure up to date and protected from vulnerabilities

Group Policy Management:

  • Have an understanding and working knowledge of Group Policies for endpoints

Windows Software Update Services (WSUS):

  • Manage Monthly Patching using WSUS
  • Keep WSUS patches up to date and maintained for endpoints
  • Release patches to test assets, and then in a managed rollout to production based on predetermined schedules
  • Be flexible for schedule changes for zeroday vulnerabilities
  • Communicate with leadership of pending patches released by Microsoft

Dell Data Protection Encryption (DDPE):

  • Manage DDPE Infrastructure for endpoints
  • Create/Update/Manage Policies

ServiceNow:

  • Monitor Queue for incident, service request and change management tasks pertaining to endpoint security
  • Create Change Requests for any patches, software deployments, and Symantec policy changes
  • Attend Technical Advisory Board (TAB) and Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to discuss change requests that have been submitted

Level 3 troubleshooting:

  • Windows 10
  • Windows 11
- "Some" Windows Server

  • Group Policy
  • Active Directory
  • Symantec A/V and Firewall
  • Ivanti
  • Encryption
  • Imaging
  • Software Packaging
  • PowerShell
  • Visual Basic Script

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years' experience including relevant technical expertise
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience, with Configuration Management Platforms (MECM and Ivanti)
  • Microsoft PowerShell
  • Experience with WSUS
  • Experience with DDPE
  • Working knowledge WGroup Policies for Endpoints
  • Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V)
- iVanti Application Control

  • Symantec Anti-Virus and Endpoint Management and other Antivirus platforms
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Visio)
  • Windows 10
, Windows 11 and Windows
  • Security level clearance required FOR EPO (Endpoint Operations)
  • Collaboration tools, Systems Management
  • Software Distribution, Mobility Management, Image and Packaging, End Point Security and latest technologies.
  • Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit
