Housing Assignments and Office Specialist (Office Specialist VI)

For consideration, Qualifications Include:

  • Minimum of two years of related experience working in an office environment or higher education; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in a university setting and/or student housing preferred
  • Previous office management experience preferred
  • Experience with StarRez and Banner preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with others
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Proficient use of word processing and spreadsheet software such as Word and Excel
  • Well organized and able to prioritize assigned tasks
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to confidentially manage student information
  • Able to work effectively with diverse groups of students, faculty, and staff
  • Motivated and capable of working independently; willingness to learn
  • Ability to work under pressure during peak periods and meet deadlines
  • Ability to comply with workplace guidelines and attendance requirements
