Delivery driver for 26 foot straight truck. (NON- CDL) (Local work)


Must have verifiable experience driving CMVs, and delivery experience is a plus.
Each truck will have a 2 person team.

The team will be completing last mile furniture delivery routes. (Delivery to customers homes and B2B) 80% of deliveries are thresholds and front door, 20% are white glove.

You will be delivering in a company vehicle around Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay and Northern Illinois (NO Chicago.) Home everyday.

MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 100lbs, with assistance from wrist/shoulder straps, dollies and pallet jacks. All tools and supplies are provided. All trucks are equipped with lift gates.


Duties:

• Safely drive 26 foot straight truck
• Loading and unloading delivery trucks
• Home delivery and assembly of furniture
• Use pallet jacks and dollies to load and unload
• Have timely and accurate deliveries
• Follow delivery routes and adhere to company policies and procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck
• Be able to interact with customers on a professional level

Qualifications:

• Have verifiable CMV experience of 1 year or more
• Experience using pallet jacks and dollies
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
