- Accountable for direct and indirect age appropriate patient assessment, care planning, patient care, and monitoring of patient outcomes
- Collaborates with all patient care providers and the patient/family in the development of the patient care plan
- Reports patient status to the patient's physician and/or LIP
- Obtains orders for care.
- Provides age appropriate teaching to patients/families with accommodations for their individual learning needs.
- Responsible for mentoring of students, novice nurses and peers.
- Demonstrate safe and competent nursing care that is consistent with Gritman's Mission, Vision, and Values
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Must have valid Idaho nursing license or compact state nursing license
- BLS and ACLS required. NRP, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC required within one year of employment
