Position Summary:


As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct support and assistance to children with behavioral challenges and developmental disabilities.

Working under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will implement behavior intervention plans, collect data, and collaborate with the clinical team to achieve meaningful outcomes for the children we serve.


Responsibilities:


  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA, ensuring fidelity and effectiveness of interventions.
  • Conduct direct oneonone therapy sessions with children between the ages of 210, utilizing ABA techniques to address specific behavioral goals.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of client progress, behavioral data, and session notes.
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to review client progress, adjust intervention strategies, and ensure consistent treatment implementation.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, providing valuable insights and feedback to enhance client outcomes.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity, patience, and empathy when working with clients and their families to build a positive therapeutic relationship.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold the company's ethical standards and policies at all times.
  • Continuously seek professional development opportunities to stay current with ABA best practices and advancements.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma (bachelor's degree in relevant fields is a plus).
  • Valid driver's license, personal vehicle & auto insurance (policy holder or name listed as a driver on policy).
  • Reliable transportation for inhome sessions.
  • Pass a background check.
  • Must obtain RBT certification within 90 days, all training provided.
  • Previous experience working with children with developmental disabilities is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated commitment to uphold and promote the company's mission, values, and ethical principles.
