- Accountable for the timely and accurate execution of end-to-end payroll deliverables across the Americas (United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, and Peru)
- Develop, implement and maintain internal control policies, procedures, and compliance with respect to the payroll process, including, but not limited to pay policies, payroll calendars, payroll checklists, process maps and other procedural documentation.
- Ensure standard operating procedures are followed and maintained, and service level agreements are met by the team (e.g., response times and resolution of tickets).
- Manage a team of 30+ payroll specialists spread across the US, Mexico and Brazil.
- Timely offboarding and separations
- Seamless integration with time and attendance systems
- Meet/exceed success metrics and key process indicators
- Ensure Audit and SOX compliance
- Maintain a highly motivated and engaged team supporting unity across work locations
- Partnership and collaboration across HR and Finance
- Cross trained employees for backup/vacation coverage
- Employee development including skills growth and succession plans
- Maintain confidential information when required by legal or ethical standards and professionalism to ensure privacy of employee records.
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 12+ years of job-related and/or management experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
