Job Overview:
Duties:
- Assisting the lead Medical Records Clerk to:_
- Organize and manage medical records in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient records
- Retrieve patient medical records for healthcare providers as needed
- Scan and electronically file incoming medical documents
- Input and update patient information into electronic health record systems
- Process release of information requests in accordance with privacy laws (HIPAA proficient)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Assist with coding and indexing medical records for billing purposes
- Upkeeping tracker logs using Microsoft office programs (Excel)
Experience:

MUST HAVE _
MINIMUM 1 YEAR _
EXPERIENCE REVIEWING MEDICAL RECORDS
- Previous experience in Med-Legal pain management is a plus
- Previous experience in a medical office setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare documentation
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay:
$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
