Quality Engineer

Manchester, Iowa Onsite

Monday-Friday

Base salary: $75k - $90k / year + full robust benefits package

Direct Hire Opportunity

A local Manchester, Iowa manufacturer is seeking a Quality Engineer who will be part of a collaborative team of responsible for executing the organizations Quality Management System in accordance with ISO-9001 and internal strategic objectives. The right fit candidate will possess a bachelors degree and possess ISO-9000 professional working experience. This is an on-site direct hire opportunity, meaning, the best fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company payroll and receive their robust benefits package.

What you get to do (in a snap-shot):

Identifying and leveraging best practices in Quality Assurance and Manufacturing-related processes

Assisting in development of Quality process strategy and identifying opportunities for improvement across the organization

Evaluating and interpreting both industry requirements and internal Quality Management Systems requirements with the goal of developing robust company procedures and instructions,

Helping site Quality teams, Quality Inspectors, and/or senior Quality leadership as subject matter expert to investigate and correct quality issues and establish continuous improvement opportunities

Lead and facilitate projects generated from our High-Performance Team Board process.

Lead and facilitate installation and implementation of ISO-9001 quality management systems.

What wed like you to bring to the opportunity:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related college degree

3+ years of experience in quality assurance and control within a production or manufacturing industry.

ISO-9000 working experience (required)

Six-Sigma, Lean working experience (preferred)

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills
