Job Description:
General Labor (1st Shift)


Primary Duties:

• Cleaning
• Helping feed machines
• Stacking material
• Hand sorting
• Stripping material
• Operating stackers
• Learning multiple positions

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent; up to 6 months related experience or training in the corrugated industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic computer skills for data entry
• Good interpersonal & communication skills
• Ability to work in fastpaced environment, learn quickly and follow established processes

Physical Demands

To successfully perform the essential functions of this role it requires the ability to: stand constantly, walk constantly, frequent use of hands (reach with hands and arms), view computer monitor, speak and hear on a frequent basis.

The role requires occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.

Vision abilities required to include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Pay:
$ $18.50 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
