Maintenance Technician

Open 7-days a week, our facility offers an arcade of games, bocce ball, bouncy houses, wall climbing, cornhole, darts, pizza, sushi, tapas, a vast beer wall and so much more.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS**- Paint various types of surfaces with proper and clean lines/breaks and workspace (avoid drips on floors and equipment)

• Cleanly install decals, wallpaper, line taping (sport floor lines), etc
• May do some light carpentry (walls and floors), which may including caulking and welding.
• Surface repair. Small repairs to concrete, walls, doors, including drywall replacement including taping and mudding.
• May assist to repair or replace any plumbing hardware.
• May assist with the Facilities Director to conducts daily or weekly walk through inspecting all equipment which is not limited to HVAC, electrical equipment, kitchen equipment, refrigerators, TVs, stereo sound system, other monitors, and projectors. Works on any repairs or maintenance.
• May troubleshoot and repair building issues (doors, walls, rinks/arenas, netting, glass,).
• Assists in maintenance and repair of our parking lot
• May assist Sports & Recreation building preventive maintenance program; maintain records of equipment purchase dates, warranty information, and ensures maintenance/repair work completed
• May assist to Repair/Replace outlets, lights, TVs, Computers, etc.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Facilities Director

Experience and Skills

• Paint and light carpentry
• Safely and skillfully operate powered machinery such as our inhouse scissor lift, tenant rideon floor scrubber, Cushman tug, and various rented (drain skates, forklifts, skid steer, boom lift)
• Working Knowledge of Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, and Telephone systems
• Experience with health and safety compliance requirements
• Cleanliness & Service Obsession (+ ability to instill them in others)

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Write, read, speak, hear and see
• Walk, kneel, and bend
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Push cart
• Stand for prolonged periods
• Climb stairs and ladders
• Use cleaning equipment and tools (i.e., mops, brooms, tile scrubbers, etc.)
• Setup and takedown equipment and functions
• Work with chemicals and other potentially hazardous materials
