Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Assistant Chef to join our culinary team.
As an Assistant Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen and deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
This is a full-time position in the food industry, offering opportunities for growth and development.Duties:
- Assist the Head Chef in supervising and coordinating all aspects of food preparation and production
- Collaborate with the catering team to plan and execute banquet events
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food service management
- Assist in creating menus, recipes, and daily specials
- Monitor portion control and plate presentation to maintain highquality standards
- Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Experience:
- Previous experience as a cook or chef in a professional kitchen
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and culinary trends
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team
- Familiarity with dietary requirements and restrictions
