Description

Susquehanna International Group (SIG) is seeking a Data Center Systems Specialist to join our Data Center team, which is responsible for the management and support of our onsite data centers, osting over 5,000 multi-vendor IT devices across a 2MW power footprint.

This team is responsible for executing deployments and change in a dynamic mission critical data center along with ensuring our business critical systems are operating at a high performance level.

Coverage is scheduled in shifts across four days per week, so team members enjoy three days off every single week.

You will receive continued training from both your team members, team leads, and partner engineering teams

  • In this role, you will:
  • You will gain hands on experience with a broad range of technologies including networking, telecommunications, security, server hardware and software, as well as various tools used to manage the environments.
  • You will own and troubleshoot issues that arise,
  • Parter with our engineering teams to quickly implement a solution, when an escalation arises.
  • The current opening is on our midday/evening shift from 12:00pm 10:30pm.

What we're looking for

  • 1+ years of experience in a technical field support, systems administration, data center or related technical position required
  • Windows and networking knowledge required; basic knowledge of Linux/Unix preferred
  • Experience with server and/or networking installations, implementations and/or deployments required
  • Understanding of critical IT facilities infrastructure and structured cabling
  • Basic scripting experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Enterprise monitoring, backup, and scheduling platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or other technical discipline preferred
  • Primary Requirements:

Ability to work the midday/evening shift from 12:00pm - 10:30pm.
Strong understanding of technology fundamentals in a critical infrastructure environment
