    Position Title:
    Quality Engineer

    Shift: 1st shift 8am - 4:pm Monday - Friday

    Position Type:
    Temp-to-hire


    Location:
    Elk Grove Village, IL


    Pay:
    Based on experience

    Requirements

    Utilize various testing equipment and techniques to assess product/service quality, including but not limited to calibers, micrometers, gauge, and visual inspection.

    Assist in addressing quality issues and corrective actions.

    Prepare and conduct ISO and internal audits to ensure compliance with standards and regulations

    Assist in the development and implementation of quality control protocols and procedures .

    Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product.service quality and efficiency.

    Provide support during the customer audits inspection, as needed.

    Customer quotations

    Plant Maintenance Software

    Part specific records ERP database for new parts and changes using traceable methods (ECN)


    Responsibilities:
    Participate in MRP planning, scheduling and materials procurement.

    Provides plan guidance assessing and recommending solutions for molding press and support equipment maintenance activities.

    May be required by management to perform other reasonable work-related tasks.


    Qualifications:
    Technical knowledge of plastics injection mold pressing. (RJG, paulson or equivalent) preferred.

    IDO 2009:2015, OSHA conventions knowledge.

    Experience with automotive PPAPS

    Intermediate to advanced Excel skills is a must.

    Spanish speaking is highly preferred.
