WAREHOUSE LUMPER Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Review breakdown sheet.
• Unload products from trailers.
• Sort and stack products correctly on pallets following placement instructions.
• Ensure stacked products are undamaged.
• Transport products to designated dock areas using power equipment.
• Utilize necessary equipment like slip-sheet, clamp devices, or forklifts.
• Securely prep products for warehouse storage by shrink wrapping or taping.
• Perform equipment maintenance checks and report issues promptly.
• Identify and report damaged products to prevent warehouse entry.
• Conduct daily sanitation tasks in the workspace.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Pass a drug screening and background check.
• Physically capable of continuous standing, walking, lifting up to 65 pounds, and more.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Adapt to flexible work schedules based on operational needs.
• Follow company work and safety guidelines effectively.
• Maintain pace to ensure smooth workflow in product receiving.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Various areas within the distribution center.
• Work in temperature ranges from 34 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Exposure to dust, noise, and other environmental factors.
