Expedited Shipping Containers Company is looking for reliable warehouse
Lumpers and hourly workers. These workers will be considered (1099 vs. W-2), meaning no taxes withheld, and they will be paid at a
Flat Rate while handling the unloading of ocean freight containers by hand. THESE POSITIONS ARE ON A DAILY PAYOUT PROGRAM to start and thereafter every Wednesday and every Friday.
Necessary Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must have own transportation
- Understanding this position is very physical when offloading
- Must have a positive attitude
- Must have a great work ethic
- Responsibility, punctuality, dependability, and reliability are essential
- Able to operate in an active, fastpaced environment
- 1+ years of warehouse experience necessary
- Must have valid Social Security Card & Driver's License and/or State ID
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Removes product/material from containers safely, accurately, quickly, and efficiently
- Handstacks floor loads onto pallets in an appropriate and accurate manner
- Able to lift up to 70 lbs. with frequent bending, squatting, and reaching
- Ensures product loads are properly handled to minimize product damage
- Light shrink wrapping
Pay:
$ $250.00 per day
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Houston, TX 77035: Relocate before starting work (required)
