The company publishes books, journals, and digital media in the fields of law and political science, economics and social sciences, history, political science, literature, and philosophy.

We are currently seeking a (m/f/d) trainee for our metadata management department for a period of 18 months.


Your responsibilities will include:

Production, maintenance, and management of metadata for our publishing products
Quality assurance of texts and data for online shops, catalogs, and search engines
Management and monitoring of metadata distribution to our international partners
Collaboration on workflow optimizations and the development of our metadata strategy
Support for sales and business development projects


We expect from you:

Completed university degree
First experience in publishing, preferably in the academic field
Thorough, structured, and independent work style
General IT affinity, proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong sense of quality
