SAP Support Staff

:

SAP Support Staff works as part of a multi-disciplinary team in providing supervision to adults with substance use disorder.

The Support Staff also provides services including but not limited to client supervision, transporting residents to appointments, cleaning, crisis intervention, and mediation management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees and assists clients with everyday life skills such as cleaning, cooking, practicing coping skills, etc.
• Perform household duties such as cooking and cleaning.
• Ensures that the environment of care adheres to the safe care of the clients.
• Document client progress. Prepare documentation accurately and within time frames.
• Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment with mínimal to high volumes of stress.
• Assists Supervisors with client transportation to outside appointments, other facilities, evening selfhelp meetings, and other recreational activities.
• Perform any/all other duties as assigned by your assigned supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience working in substance abuse field preferred.
• Knowledge/Experience with M.A.T (medication assisted treatment) preferred.
• Ability to work independently and be selfmotivated.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with individuals and groups.
• Ability to flex work hours as needed.
• Willing to work some weekends and overnight shift.
• Possess strong interpersonal leadership, analytic, and problemsolving skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• CPR/First Aid/BLS certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to sit, rise, kneel, squat, twist, pull bend multiple times a day.
• Ability to walk with items in hand, grasp and reach as needed.
• Ability to perform with repetitive maneuvers and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work in an office environment.
