Join us and support our community with the highest quality healthcareThe Clinical Program Manager - Orthopedic Program plans, organizes, directs, and manages all aspects of the program.
Provides leadership, guidance, and direction for day-to-day program operations and administrative activities, including the authority to make independent decisions regarding program operations, administration, and governance.
Leads and/or contributes to the short-term and long-term strategic planning, design, development and implementation of program objectives, processes and standards.
May supervise staff as it relates to the overall management of the program.
Leads and facilitates Ortho Committee meetings, ensuring initiatives and program requirements are followed by orthopedic surgeons, and presenting and sharing pertinent program and service line information.
Independently serves as the liaison between patients, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Oversees development and implementation of clinical protocols, pathways, and best practices to standardize care and improve outcomes.Provides leadership, guidance, and support to orthopedic program staff, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Coordinates multidisciplinary team meetings to facilitate collaboration and communication among members of the orthopedic care team.
Manages the day-to-day operations of the orthopedic program, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
Successfully facilitates the patient through the preoperative, surgical and postoperative care, including assessing and educating patient.
Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of Medicare Comprehensive Joint Replacement Program and Transforming Episode Accountability Model (TEAM).
Ensures quality improvement initiatives are supported to enhance patient outcomes.
Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies and procedures.
Manages patient medical records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Education
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, required
Master's of Science in Nursing, preferred
Work Experience
Five (5) years of management, program or project management, or related experience, required
Certifications/Licenses:
Basic Life Support (BLS) via American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS/ALS) via American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required
California RN State License, required
