Position Title:
Account ManagerPosition Description:
Development and acquisition of new customers in general non-automotive industriesMaintain good standing and growing relationships with existing/acquired customersGenerate new project orders to meet or exceed annual goalsWork cooperatively and collaboratively with all team members, customer and supplier partners throughout project acquisition and deliveryProvide metrics, reports and success criteria for sales and related activitiesStrategic planning and goal-setting surrounding market and customer sector-specific targeting and communication initiatives to close or grow customer accountsMaintain & submit appropriate records for forecasting, quote status & expensesAssist Applications Engineering team as needed in developing solutions to customers' needsSupport marketing efforts and general proactive market outreach activitiesPosition RequirementsExisting relationships with key customers and decision-makers in engineering and procurementA general understanding of manufacturing, particularly as it pertains to automation equipmentProven ability to continually contact prospective customers and develop relevant leadsProfessional skills in organizing and leading conversations and building trustProven, and superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication abilitiesSense of diplomacy, including negotiation skills, conflict resolution and people managementPossess a creative and solutions-oriented approach to project opportunitiesWillingness to travel to support customers in order to meet project sales goalsAbility to skillfully utilize CRM software and Microsoft applications notably ExcelCompensation: Base salary, sales commission, year-end discretionary bonusBenefits: Paid-time off, 401(k) employer match, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Short-term and long-term disability, Parental leave, Life insurance
