- Assisting residents with personal care needs like grooming, hygiene, dressing, and nutrition.
- Responding promptly to residents' needs signaled through lights, bells, or the intercom system.
- Monitoring vital signs, food intake, assisting with mobility, changing bed linens, running errands, and more.
- Supporting residents during meals, activities, and daily tasks.
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, and the care team.
- Ensuring residents' well-being and independence as much as possible.
- Complying with resident's wishes and advance directives.
- Working collaboratively with the team and taking initiative when needed.
- Meeting the physical demands of the job and performing assigned duties effectively.
- And other responsibilities as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- At least one year of experience as a resident assistant (preferred).
- Proficiency with Internet browsers, Microsoft Office programs, EHR systems, and HR-related systems.
