    POSITION OVERVIEW:
    The Motor and Parts (MOPAR) and Computer Support Specialist (CSS) Field Representative will have the responsibilities of educating, creating excitement, and providing information to transitioning out of the army service members about FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automotive) MOPAR Automotive in accordance with the Army Career Skills Program (CSP). The CSP affords transitional service members the opportunity to participate in employment skills training (EST), on-the-job training (OJT), pre-apprenticeships, and internships with a high probability of employment demand and high skills jobs. Participation must occur within the last 180 days of military service, with an honorable discharge. The ideal candidate will be an effective public speaker who is highly competitive, maintains a positive attitude, and is driven to succeed. Working independently, including nights and weekends, while maintaining Ft. Bliss office to service transitioning active-duty service members with program information for recruitment purposes.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


    • Deliver enthusiastic, educational FCA MOPAR and CSS presentations to transitioning out of U.S. Army active-duty soldiers in weekly Transition Assistance Program (TAP) briefings, Ft. Bliss hiring expos, and education career fairs.
    • Responsible for developing a full schedule, setting presentation appointments is a key component of this role. This includes fostering, developing, and nurturing new and existing contacts within the Ft. Bliss community, CPC coordinators, a unit chain of command, in-person visits, campus appointments, phone calls, and emails to schedule one-to-one presentation program meetings.
    • Adhere to designated scripts and presentations.
    • Utilize approved telephone presentation and interview procedures during the enrollment process.
    • Set appointments for interested program prospective students at Ft. Bliss office and/or at the college campus.
    • Make daily updates to Student Information Systems in compliance with policies and procedures.
    • Develop professional rapport with active-duty service members, the chain of commands, CSP coordinators, education coordinators, and official representatives within the Ft. Bliss community that will offer consistent customer service.
    • Attend Ft. Bliss educational, hiring fairs, and any Ft. Bliss community events as directed by WTC.
    • Partner with Ft. Bliss CPC coordinators to support and encourage students who have applied and/or enrolled about their decision to relocate to areas of employment recruitment in need across the county.
    • Partner with MOPAR dealerships to find future employees and coordinate potential candidate interviews.
    • Complete all enrollment and CSP required forms, and coordinate with college staff on incoming enrolled students by program start.
    • Effectively communicate with Ft. Bliss CPS officials on student enrollments, graduates, and employment placement
    • Develop a plan for connecting with other potential students based on referral information obtained from current students during the interview.
    • Adress any inquiries, questions, concerns, or issues and ensure appropriate action is taken to the satisfaction of the student, College, and/or regulatory agencies in compliance with policy, procedures, and legal requirements.
    • Support in-house admissions representatives as needed with prospective student interviews, campus tours, dealership visits, and enrollment.
    • Complete and provide daily and weekly activity reports in an accurate and timely manner.
    • Categorize lead cards generated by presentations and events according to stated procedures an enter them on the Student Information System.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse population.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by WTC.
    Requirements


    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE AND OTHER

    REQUIREMENTS:



    • Associate or bachelor's degree in business or a related field (preferred).
    • Minimum of 1-2 years of admissions recruitment or non-durable goods sales experience.
    • Military experience, with knowledge of military units and military customs and courtesies (preferred).
    • Some leadership and mentorship experience
    • Able to work a flexible schedule that will require evenings and weekends.
    • Ability to travel.
    • Attend and successfully complete all training for this position as required at any time by the rules and regulations for WTC.
    • Have a valid driver's license and active insurance.
    • Must have a personal cell phone to be used with the MFA.
