Description
As an Battery Storage Installer, your responsibilities are to assemble and install solar photovoltaic (PV) battery systems in compliance with site assessment and schematics.
May include measuring, assembling, electrical wiring, and bolting structural framing.Job Duties
- Site Surveys for Residential Battery Storage Systems
- Relocation of circuits
- Installation of sub panels
- Work with the Operations Manager and homeowners to fulfill any necessary system upgrades/repairs to support our solar equipment
- Work with local Inspectors to satisfy local requirements and expectations
- Maintain highquality control on tools, vehicles, and materials needed for job responsibilities
- Residential Battery Storage System Installations
- Keep accurate records of material used and proper documentation on work orders relating to the installation
- Perform other needed job tasks as requested by leadership
Qualifications:
- Two year of solar installation experience, including battery backup installation
- Tesla Powerwall certified required
- Enphase certified
- Solar Edge certified
- Valid CA Electrical Trainee (ET Card) required, CA Certifed Electrician license preferred
- Ability to safely handle power tools and hand tools as well as materials such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, and other similar electrical equipment, lumber, roofing materials, etc.
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Excellent problemsolving skills
- Excellent customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attendance is essential for the team to achieve success
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
