The USC Athletic Department is looking to hire an Assistant Head Coach for a Women's Golf to join its team.


THE WORK YOU WILL DO


The Assistant Head Coach-Women's Golf is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of the Women's Golf Program including competitive success, academic achievement, rules compliance and fundraising.


The Assistant Women's Golf Coach:

  • Responsible for teaching specific areas of golf techniques
  • Responsible for practice organization and assisting the Head Coach with the overall operation of the golf program.
  • Works with the Head Coach on all fundraising activities for the Women's Golf Program
  • Promote the Women's golf program to various constituents including media, donors, the university community, and the general public
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. The university reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two years of coaching experience (or equivalent experience) at the college level preferably in Division
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Understanding of conference and NCAA rules and regulation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three+ years coaching experience at the college level preferably in Division I or equivalent playing experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Complete understanding of conference, MPSF and NCAA rules and regulations.
  • This position requires a high level of physical activity in the instruction of skills and requires the person to have a high skill level in women's golf techniques.
  • Administrative skills including interpersonal relations are essential to the job.
