EDGEHILL is seeking an evening
Housekeeper/Houseman who will be in charge of maintaining our community's carpets and floors in apartments and common areas, as well as the physical setup of events in the community.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Maintains all floors of common areas, to include carpet, ceramic tile and vicinity. This includes but is not limited to mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, stripping wax from floors, buffing, etc.
  • Maintains floor cleaning equipment.
  • Assists in the physical setup of community events by executing instructions in the Banquet Event Orders(BEO) and coordinating with the appropriate departments.
  • Assists Supervisor with inventory and ordering of supplies.
  • Cleans all trash rooms.
  • Assists housekeepers with annual cleanings.
  • Notifies Supervisor of any and all repairs that may be needed, concerning floors and equipment.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work and storage area. Disposes of debris and defective materials.

Requirements:


  • Available to work in the evenings
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred
  • Experience cleaning residential or commercial settings preferred, but we will train
  • Understands the practices surrounding proper handling of biohazardous waste
