**Description**
1. Greet patients upon arrival and check patients in on a daily basis.
2. Collect all co-pays/ coinsurances and back balances from patients if applicable. Apply applicable credits
3. Obtain photo ID and insurance card to be scanned into system.
4. Verify and set correct insurance to the chart in Next Gen for appropriate billing.
5. Attach correct billing data to each encounter at check in and resolve each claim edit as applicable at check out.
6. Complete check out in both EHR and EPM, ensuring all workflows are complete.
7. Schedule all ordered procedures, provide referral paperwork, give and explain pre op instructions to patients. Document outcome of check out process.
8. Prepare deposits.
9. Prepare end of day packet.
