The Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) is the federal competence center for foreign trade, economic development, energy, climate protection, supply chains, and auditor supervision.

In the business area of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK), BAFA carries out its tasks at its headquarters in Eschborn near Frankfurt am Main, as well as in its branch offices in Weißwasser/Saxony, Borna/Saxony, and Berlin.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an IT specialist (Dipl. Uni/Master) (w/m/d) at our Eschborn location as soon as possible.

Your tasks



In the Information Technology, Hardware Networks department, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Assuming conceptual and coordination tasks to support the department management
  • Implementation of IT projects of various sizes - either independently or in a supporting role
  • Planning, coordination, implementation, and tracking of work packages in (partial) projects
  • Support in planning, implementation, and documentation of security analyses / security concepts in connection with the BSI standard 200-X.
