Supervisor, Construction - Westwood, United States - EVERSOURCE
Description
Eversource is in search of a Construction Supervisor situated in Eastern Massachusetts.
As the Construction Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of construction field management and inspection processes for projects involving transmission lines and substations in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
Your responsibilities include supervising Transmission Construction Representatives, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring work is completed safely and on time in line with Eversource's quality standards.
You will also be accountable for overseeing environmental compliance, safety initiatives, and contractor performance in terms of safety and environmental standards.
Essential Functions:
- Supervising all construction field management activities for Substations and Transmission Lines utilizing contractor resources.
- Coordinating with multiple teams to support work completion in a safe and timely manner.
- Managing construction project phases in terms of cost, productivity, schedule, and compliance.
- Ensuring adherence to environmental programs and regulations.
- Driving excellence in safe work practices and safety performance.
- Fostering teamwork among Transmission and Distribution organizations.
- Systemwide on-call responsibilities.
Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
- Technical Knowledge/Skill: In-depth understanding of transmission construction.
- Detailed knowledge of work practices, safety requirements, and transmission power systems.
- Strong human resource management and business planning skills.
- Proficiency in information technology and office automation systems.
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent.
- Experience required: 5 to 10 years in construction or maintenance, preferably in Energy Delivery.
- Preferred supervisory experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive total rewards program with a salary range starting at $122,620 to $136,260 plus incentives.
- Valid motor vehicle driver's license required.
Working Conditions:
- Availability for emergency restoration assignments.
- Travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
